The gallery programme revolves around the primacy of sight
and the joy of looking. We like the proposition, 'Think with your eyes'
We want visitors to engage with, discuss and enjoy contemporary
art and not feel intimidated or lectured.

Newark-on -Trent, in the East Midlands, is only
75 minutes north of London by train.
There’s a population of over 3 million within an hour’s journey: Nottingham, Sheffield, Lincoln, Leicester, Derby, Leeds and York.
And, if you are from round here, you’ll be pleased to hear we will be
in The Ossington, a landmark building opposite the c12th Castle.

By renting a retail unit in the town centre as a creative space and running day and evening classes to support lifelong learners and community groups, we grow our skills and self-expression.
And together we bring cultural vitality, build civic pride and raise aspiration in the people of Newark and help our town to thrive.
